The Hearing Center was established was established by Sheri Hazzard in March 2017, as an independent clinic locally owned and operated clinic.  In July 2021, Sheri retired and sold the business to Hometown Hearing, which is staffed by experienced professionals who care about you and are here to provide expertise and guidance along your journey to rediscovering the joy of sound, by providing complete hearing assessments, counselling, selection and fitting of hearing devices, regular check-ups and regular cleaning and maintenance of hearing devices.

We will honour your existing hearing aid warranties and service packages at no additional cost to you. Just another way we are making it easy for you to support your local community and to choose your preferred service provider.

Our convenient, accessible location, ample free-parking, extensive line of proven hearing products, competitive pricing, 90-day trial period, and our state-of-the-art testing and fitting equipment will ensure that your journey to rediscover the joy of sound is easy and worry-free.

Lucas Dasilva Hearing Aid Specialist

Lucas Dasilva

Hearing Instrument Specialist, Reg’d. AHIP

Lucas has been caring for the hearing health needs for neighbouring communities for over six years.  He is a graduate of Conestoga College and is a registered member in good standing with AHIP. Lucas is also fully certified for wax removal.

Lucas has been employed by Hometown Hearing since graduation and has worked in various locations including Cambridge, Waterdown, Parry Sound, St. Thomas and now full time in Stratford.  Lucas is excited to provide Stratford with professional, individual, result-oriented hearing solutions based on your specific needs.  You will feel at home in this warm, friendly, non-judgemental and pressure free environment.

Lucas and his wife Melissa live in Cambridge and have two cats George and Archie.

Outside of the clinic Lucas enjoys working out, cooking and sports cars.  Lucas and his wife enjoy fine dining, hiking and the movies.

Office Administrator

Shelly will likely be your first point of contact with our clinic, whether by phone or in person. Her delightful smile, outgoing personality, and eagerness to ensure your experience is comfortable and enjoyable will put you quickly at ease.

Shelly has worked in the hearing industry for 9 years and brings with her a vast knowledge of the workings of a hearing clinic. Her kind, thoughtful and helpful nature will ensure that you feel cared for.

She is a graduate of Sheridan College in Mississauga, Ontario, and has worked in a variety of office environments within Stratford.

Shelly and her husband, Greg, have lived in nearby Gads Hill since 1995, and are kept busy with the various activities of their three children.

They have spent a significant amount of time in the area’s local arenas and sports fields cheering on their children as they participate in hockey and soccer; and enjoy family fishing and camping excursions. Shelly is also a member of a local volleyball team, and as an avid reader, enjoys her monthly book club meetings with the “Gads Hill Hotties”.
