For Sheri and Shelly at The Hearing Center, it’s all about clients and community. “We truly have some of the nicest clients,” says Sheri Hazzard, the owner of The Hearing Center and a Hearing Instrument Specialist. “Client’s hearing concerns are our primary focus, and spending time getting to know their individual stories and lifestyle requirements ensure that we find the best solution and care for their specific needs. We share stories about life events, family, travel, health experiences, pets … you name it. Honestly, our clients become an extension of our family.”

The Hearing Center was established in March 2017. It’s an independent hearing healthcare clinic that’s locally owned and operated. The clinic provides complete hearing assessments, counselling, selection and fitting of hearing devices, regular check-ups, regular cleaning and maintenance of all types and brands of hearing aids, and provision of custom noise, swim, sleep, and musician’s plugs.

“Having my own clinic means I can do what I love – help people rediscover the joy of sound, and provide them with the exceptional care and service that they deserve. It allows me to use my knowledge and experience to provide clients with professional, individual, result-oriented solutions based on their specific needs, in a warm, friendly, non-judgmental, and pressure-free environment. It also allows me the opportunity to give back to my community in various ways,” says Sheri. “The people of Stratford are very supportive of local business. We’re thankful and honoured by that support, and we’re delighted to be a part of this fabulous community.”

Sheri and her husband, Brian, have lived in Stratford since 2008, and in nearby St. Marys for 17 years prior to that. She has been caring for the hearing health needs of the residents of Stratford and neighbouring communities for over 12 years, and has been working together with Shelly for over four years. They are proud of the teamwork they have established that makes a visit to their clinic comfortable and enjoyable, and ensures clients feel cared for.
